Share a deck with a link

Turn any converted deck into a link anyone can open — no account needed.

Open a converted deck in Deck preview and click Share in the top-right corner, then Create share link.

2anki generates an unguessable link only after you click Create share link. Anyone who has the link can:

• Preview all the cards in a browser
• Download the .apkg to import into Anki

They cannot edit the deck, and they do not need a 2anki account.

Stop sharing

Open the preview page, click Share, then Stop sharing. The link stops working immediately. You can create a new link at any time.

Privacy

The share link is not indexed by search engines and does not appear on 2anki.net. Only people you send the link to can reach it.

Be careful with decks that contain personal notes — anyone with the link can read the cards.

Downloads page

Decks with an active link show a Shared badge on your downloads list.
