Export your Brainscape deck as CSV, drop it here, get a .apkg deck that opens clean in Anki.
1. Drop your file
Notion export, PDF, Word, Markdown, or a Quizlet export.
2. 2anki builds your deck
Usually a few seconds. Bigger files take a minute.
3. Open it in Anki
Double-click the .apkg file. Your cards are ready to study.
Cloze deletions stay clickable
{{c1::...}} becomes a real Anki cloze card, not plain text.
Images render in the card
Embedded images come across and display on the front or back.
Tags carry over
Strikethrough in Notion or a tag column in CSV attaches to every card in the deck.
Correct note types
Basic, Cloze, and front/back map to the right Anki note type so import is clean.
No junk in your cards
No empty backs, no stray #, *, or $ characters left over from your notes.
Open the deck you own, click the deck options menu, and pick Export. Brainscape has historically gated export behind a Pro plan — confirm in your account before you rely on it.
No. Brainscape only lets you export decks you own. Copy the cards into a deck on your own account first, then export that one.
Whatever sits in the CSV columns. Brainscape exports the question and answer text by default — those become the card front and back. Extra columns map to extra fields if your CSV has them.
No. Brainscape's CSV export is text-only — images and audio stay in Brainscape. Re-add any visuals in Anki after import, or paste the image link if the CSV captured one.
